Houston Air Conditioning Installation, Repair & Maintenance
At AirCon Service Company we want to remind all consumers that when its 90 degrees outside, inside your attic its about 120 degrees and virtually impossible to install a new air conditioning system under those conditions.
Don't wait till the hot summer heat arrives... start planning during the fall and winter for early winter and spring installation... just imagine coming home after a long HOT day to a cool, comfortable home.
Not sure if you should repair or replace? Well, consider this: if you're operating an inefficient system that breaks down a lot, it's likely that it's going to break down again. That means more expensive emergency service calls or possible damage to the other components of your heating and air conditioning system.
Also consider the on-going cost factor. You could save up to 60% on your energy bills with new high-efficiency equipment. You see, even if your air conditioner is only a few years old, it could be terribly inefficient by today's energy efficiency standards. Installing a new, high-efficiency cooling system can actually pay for itself in energy savings within a relatively short time.
"Thank you, AirCon for making our home cooler and more energy efficient and for leaving it clean after the job was done."

What Your Neighbors Are Saying:
December 9, 2011
Review by Rick and Phyllis Nygren, Winners of 2011 Thanksgiving Free Furnace
After 33 years our AC/ heating unit had to be replaced.
The first time we needed a service call for our AC heating unit, we used the Yellow Pages and chose AirCon Service Company. This was many years ago, long before Angie’s List was created. The technician who came out made a minor repair and left an AirCon magnet which we’ve kept on our refrigerator. Whenever we’ve called for service, the technicians have been prompt, efficient, and polite and took the time to explain the problem.
In fact, about 5 years ago with temperatures in the high 90s, our AC fan was working, but there was no cool air. We turned the unit off and called AirCon for an appointment later that day. We were prepared to pay a hefty repair bill or, more likely, buy a new unit. After checking out the unit in the attic, the technician turned the unit back on and it worked perfectly. He could have sold us a new unit that day. However, he was honest enough to explain that the builder had installed a unit that was too small for the square footage of the house. Consequently, the unit could not keep up with the demand during extreme high temperatures and the compressor would shut down. He wrote up an estimate for purchase and installation of the proper size unit. But he also told us that although our unit might totally fail at any time, if we had this particular problem again, we could just turn the unit off for an hour or 2 and then turn it back on. After that we only had the overheating problem 2 or 3 times per year. By following his advice and also setting our thermostat up 2 degrees, the unit lasted five more years.
Finally in September, 2011 we did have to replace our AC/ heating unit. It was 33 years old! We called AirCon again because of our past experience with the company. They gave us their recommendations, but did not encourage us to buy the most expensive unit. We would not hesitate to recommend the company.
We were later surprised and happy to learn that we were the winners in AirCon’s Thanksgiving free furnace drawing. We went to their office where we met the owner, Derek Stewart, who presented us with a check for the amount of our new furnace and a new magnet for the fridge.
